CONSULTING WORK

Stormont principals have provided strategic advice on a consultative basis to the following clients:

Advice to Infrastructure Ontario relating to the potential sale of 11 sites across Ontario for affordable housing and long-term care use

Provided strategic advice and managed an RFP process to select a LTC developer/operator to develop an LTC facility on lands owned by the University on a ground lease basis, and enter into a partnership with the University for academic placements and research.

Analysis of potential development options for 3-5 acres of ancillary lands on the planned site for the South Niagara Hospital.  Several uses were evaluated including LTC, seniors housing, Medical Office and institutional uses.

Strategic advice and analysis to evaluate alternative ownership model structures that would result in multi-period affordable ownership terms in HGTA units

Structuring of an agreement with the City of Mississauga and sale process for OPG's Lakeview site in Mississauga, a 177-acre waterfront development site formerly used as a coal-fired generating station

Strategic advice and management of a Call for Submissions process on behalf of the Ontario government in connection with a ground lease and redevelopment of the Ontario Place West Island

Retained by Sidewalk Labs to provide advice in connection with their submission to the Quayside RFP issued by Waterfront Toronto

Strategic advice, negotiation support and process management in connection with the sale of AHT's headquarters at 225 Queen Street East

Retained by Ports Toronto to undertake market and financial feasibility analysis for a potential office project located on Toronto’s waterfront, including cultural and transport uses
